Supervision & Consultation

Theraplay® Supervision

Theraplay Supervision provides support to therapists who are developing their skills in the Theraplay model after having attended Level 1 Theraplay training or higher. I work with therapists who are pursuing Theraplay Certification and therapists who are not in the Certification practicum but want to improve their Theraplay skills. As a Theraplay Supervisor with extensive experience (Certified Supervisor since 2000), I provide guidance and support as you learn to incorporate Theraplay in your sessions. As a Registered Play Therapy Supervisor™ (RPT-S) your Theraplay supervision with me will also count toward your hours needed for the Registered Play Therapist™(RPT) credential. I offer valuable insights, share practical strategies, and help you gain confidence in effectively implementing Theraplay with your clients.

Play Therapy Consultation

As a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor™ (RPT-S) I am qualified to provide Play Therapy consultation for those working toward their Registered Play Therapist (RPT) Credential or to therapists simply wanting to deepen their play therapy skills. Play Therapy Consultation is a collaborative process that empowers therapists to optimize their play therapy practice. Whether you're new to play therapy or seeking to refine your existing skills, I am here to assist you. I provide a supportive environment to explore case conceptualization, treatment planning, and intervention strategies specific to play therapy. Through consultation, you'll gain valuable insights and guidance to improve your therapeutic effectiveness with children and families.

Reflective Supervision

Reflective Supervision is a crucial component of professional development for therapists. In reflective supervision I create a safe and nurturing space for you to explore your work, deepen your self-awareness, and reflect on how the work you are doing is impacting you. Through guided discussions and collaborative exploration, you'll gain fresh perspectives, identify blind spots, and enhance your understanding of the complex dynamics within your therapeutic relationships.

Group Consultation

Group Consultation offers a unique opportunity for therapists to learn and grow in a supportive group setting. Many therapists tell me that they feel so affirmed and learn so much by being in a consultation group with their peers. My consultation groups provide a platform to discuss clinical cases, exchange ideas, and learn from the collective wisdom of fellow professionals. Engaging in group consultation fosters a sense of community and offers diverse perspectives that can enrich your practice and expand your clinical skills.
