MEET KAREN

In 1998 my first job after college was working with pregnant and parenting teens and I have been working with children and their parents ever since. I have worked in many roles in child-serving agencies including outpatient therapy settings, foster care, adoption, residential treatment, and program development in all of these areas.

I have co-authored two books, written for magazines, and contributed to scholarly journals. I pioneered the Attachment Theory in Action podcast which has had over 1 million downloads.

Although I still provide therapy, my greatest love at this stage of my career is teaching and supporting therapists and parents through workshops, supervision, and consultation.
